Requirements

A Pacnet account and simple point-n-click software downloaded on your laptop are the only requirements. No complicated set up changes necessary!

Pacnet Account: Authenticates the username and password.
Software: iPass connect dialer allows you to dial in via local access number.

How it works?

Upon downloading the iPassConnect software (Dialer) onto his /her laptop or PDA, the Pacnet Roaming account holder provides his/her Pacnet username and password for authentication. Information is encrypted and sent over the Internet to Pacnet India's authentication server.

The server checks and sends authourization or rejection response (as the case may be) to the local ISP through whom the account holder has requested for access to the Internet. This process takes few seconds.

Proper tracking of each user enables Pacnet to provide accurate monthly billing information.
